Marcia uses Acupuncture / Dry Needling as a method of addressing many conditions by inserting fine needles into the body.

Marcia practices the modern approach – Western Acupuncture (WA). Treatment is based on the modern study and understanding of anatomy, physiology and pathology, which can be very beneficial as stand-alone or to augment other treatments such as Osteopathy and / or Lymphatic drainage.

WA or Dry Needling is a simplified version used to alleviate pain by deactivating Trigger Points (TPs) which can be active or latent and are painful areas to touch in muscles, tendons, ligaments and joint capsules. TPs are caused or activated by conditions such as infection, trauma, injury, overuse, tension, mechanical imbalance, strain or referred from other areas in the body.
